The demo released on June 1, 2026, alongside the publisher’s announcement of the game’s date. It was on Windows through Steam and took part in Steam Next Fest.
The publisher said the demo would stay available until release day, October 8, 2026. When this page was checked on October 11, 2026, a store search returned no demo, and the demo’s Steam entry returned an error with an empty page. A current download could not be confirmed, so check the store before you plan around the demo.
What the demo covers
The publisher describes the demo as a small slice of the early game, and it deliberately shows only part of the game. The demo includes the motel gift shop locker and its code, which you can read about on the demo shotgun code page. It also includes the W-500 Shotgun and the .38 Snub-Nose Revolver. The freezer code follows the same rule as the full game, according to one source.
The sources do not give a verified start and end point for the demo route, so this page does not give one.
Patches
The publisher released demo patches during the demo period. Those patches fixed bugs and some changes requested by the community, including performance fixes.
Progress into the full game
No source says whether demo progress or saves carry into the full game. Do not assume they do.
