Silver Pines has three shotguns in the sources: the W-500, the Double Barrel and The North Star. The W-500 is the first one most players reach. Getting it and solving the code that opens its locker are two different steps, so this page covers the weapon and the demo shotgun code page covers the code.
The shotguns

The W-500
The locker that holds the W-500 also holds 12-gauge ammunition. A developer said on June 7, 2026 that the shotgun is optional, but the game may be rough without it.
The W-500 has its own attachment, the Extended Magazine Tube. The sources place it on Silver Road in Downtown. Attachments are covered below.
The Double Barrel
Enter 2367 on the chain-link cage inside the shop. Two enemies guard it. The shop stays dark until you have a flashlight, so bring one before you go in.
The two sources name the shop differently. One calls it Ammo Zone and gives the cage code. The item table calls it Sport Smart, Downtown. This page cannot tell from the sources whether those are the same shop. Confirm the name in game before you rely on the location.
The North Star
The North Star is at The Quiet Hour Cafe in Downtown. The sources do not describe how to reach the cafe’s interior, so do not treat the location as a full access route.
Ammunition and attachments
The sources count 14 buckshot pickups across 8 areas. The full game has seven weapon attachments, and the demo areas have none. Besides the Extended Magazine Tube, the Compact Weapon Kit shortens the stock and barrel of a woodstock shotgun or rifle. The sources place it in a Downtown liquor store cellar and in a prop room at the broadcast center.
Reloading
The sources describe reloading as a manual, real-time process rather than a single button press. Practice reloading somewhere safe before you rely on a shotgun in a fight where you cannot step back.
Version notes
The sources confirm the W-500 location in the demo and in the 1.0 release. They do not confirm whether the Double Barrel or The North Star appear in the demo, so do not assume they do.
